Research

My research project is focusing on the impact of lysogeny on the:
> potential virulence of Streptococcus agalactiae;
> adaptability of Streptococcus agalactiae in the vaginal flora;
> evolution of this bacterial species under the pressure of phages.
I am investigaing the features specifically provided by the prophages to the lysogenic hosts: transcription level of virulence genes, transformation ability, adhesion, adaptability, etc.

Other activities

I am involved in a microbiological laboratory at Tours Trousseau Hospital.
I am teaching molecular biology, hospital hygiene and different items at the faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy and Sciences of Tours University.
