Research

I am an engineer focused in prokaryotic molecular biology. My research aim to deciphering the virulence and persistence mechanisms of Salmonella.
Research Objective : I focus on the identification and characterization of new factors involved in the pathogenicity of Salmonella. My research is centered on the identification of a novel entry factor of Salmonella Typhimurium within non-phagocytic eukaryotic cells. Additionally, I investigate the factors of Salmonella Enteritidis involved in the colonization of poultry intestines.

Methodology and Expertise :
λ Red, meganuclease, CRISPR-Cas9
In-Fusion, Gibson, MoCloFlex
Tn-seq libraries
DNA extraction from the microbiota
