Research

My research project focuses on the intestinal immune responses during Cryptosporidium parvum infection in neonatal mice or young ruminants.
I especially focus on intestinal epithelial cells. I develop also basic and applied research to develop a host-based strategies to control the parasite development.
More recently, I start to study the outcome of C. parvum  neonatal infection on the long term alterations of intestinal homeostasis.

Teaching:
I am co-head of and teach in the teaching unit “Mucosal Immunology”
- the French Master « Infectiologie, Immunité, Vaccinologie et Biomédicaments » (I²VB) of the University of Tours.
- the international Erasmus + Master « Infectious Diseases and One Health + » (IDOH+) involving three core partners: University of Tours/INRAE, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Hanover Medical School.
I teach in the French Master 2 "Biologie moléculaire et cellulaire" at Paris University Pierre et Marie Curie.
