Functional expression and pharmacological characterization of parasitic nematode acetylcholine receptors
Cholinergic agonists such as Levamisole, Pyrantel and Morantel are widely used anthelmintics targeting parasitic nematode acetylcholine  receptors (AChRs) located at the neuromuscular junction.
My main objective is to :
> identify the AChR subtypes targeted by these drugs;
> explore the nematode AChR diversity as a source of novel targets for the next generation anthelmintic compounds.
